Hello,

I know I’ve been quiet but with good reason. I have been hard at work as I have been working on anthology submissions and, as mentioned before, it got excepted and I’ve been working on edits.

I have also been working on Spilt Blood sequel and that is with my publisher at the moment as is my first ever completed novel Twisted Coven and i am waiting to hear back, I just hope she likes them.

While I wait I have been working Hell Hath No Fury, a book where I have used my best friends daughter, who is only a few years younger than me, as the ghost in the book who is rather pissed off and is looking for revenge and I am looking forward to showing my awesome publisher that book.

So yes, I’ve been Busy, i also have my mum over for a week and we have a lot planned, I also have a few things planned this weekend as it’s my birthday so I am doing an event on the 29, I’m also doing a sale on both books for the weekend and a giveaway in the event and one on my page.

Life

I have been busy. I’ve emailed Spilt Bloods sequel to the boss lady and now i wait on tender hooks while she reads and gets back to me. I’ve renamed it to ‘The Dark Side of Humanity’, and I really like this one, its got darkness, passion, hate, venom and death. It gets smoking hot in there too.

There is more information on the relationship between the Master and Joslyn. CLICK HERE TO GET BOOK ONE!!

I am also super excited as in two weeks I am meeting probably my first ever celebrity crush at Sheffield Comicon. I will be meeting Michael Biehn, the star of Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals, and so much more as well as the basis for Detective Brooks in ‘The Dark Side of Humanity’, and I am so excited. There’s also the Game of Thrones throne, which is exciting for the three that are with me, they are huge fans, me, not so much.

But its going to be fun, my disability badge has arrived so that I won’t have to walk to far. EDS and insomnia sucks and make life interesting. my mind is constantly moving and thinking hard about things. It is more than a little interesting when I read things back that I’ve written in a sleep deprived state.

So a busy time for me at the moment, including writing. I’m currently writing Hell Hath No fury too, the main character is based on my Best friends daughter, (who’s only a few years younger than me), and i can wait for you to see either of these, I’m also doing work on Night of the Demons 2, an anthology I’m in and I’m super excited.

Have an awesome Tuesday,

Hello guys

I’ve been quiet of late because I’ve been working on anthology submissions and edits on Dirty Little secrets.

I’ve had a submission accepted into an anthology due for release later this year.

I can’t wait to show more with you and I’m going to be doing a few teasers on the books I’m working on at the moment.

Dirty Little Secret follows on from Spilt Blood, book one in the Poisoned By Blood series. CLICK HERE TO GET IT!

In book two Joslyn deals with the fall out of the events of book one along with figuring out who her new best friend really is. The revelation has several negative effects that put both her friend and family at risk. She’s also dealing with her lust and pull towards her hot mentor as she discovers a possible reason towards how she’s fall for him so quickly.

Hell Hath No Fury is my other current work in progress.

It follows the tale of Gavin, a young man who buys an old abandoned mansion after making a lot of money and as they start to rebuild the mansion they find the remains of the only missing girl in town. He starts the hunt into her killer as he realised his childhood crush on the missing girl hasn’t died and the girl is pissed. YYes i need to work on the blurb. Its just to give you a little idea.

I can’t wait to show you covers on all three and I’m waiting to find out if my second submission has been accepted.

Will keep you in the loop.

Happy Sunday

Simone

Hello Reader.

Its Thursday, and this week has flown by and my mum, who’s visiting, is heading home today and I’ve posted a prose/poem every day since Sunday. Also I have been writing and have done over 10,000 words while mum’s been watching TV at night, so yes, I’ve been working hard.

Here’s today poem

Scream in the Darkness

The night was quiet, almost silent

The darkness thick, like tar

Pin pricks of light within the black expanse

The moon was oddly absent

Driving was dangerous, but she had to

The car moved slowly on the road, for safety

No other car dare drive in such a dark night

Headlights barely penetrated the black night

She was filled with fear about the drive, it was late

She was shaking with fear as to what she might find, when she got home

Her new car travelled peacefully along the road

Her mind running over her screwed up life

The darkness surrounding her resembled her bleak life, dull life

She drove alone as she lived alone and it hurt, like a stab in the heart

She suddenly, without warning pulled over

She stopped the car and jumps out

She vomited out what little was in her gut, violently

She was on all fours emptying her stomach on the roadside, her body tensing

She was shaking as who knows what left her body

She was ridged with deep routed panic

The silence was pierced by a bone shattering, blood curdling scream

She was filled with a new type of panic, that reached into every cell

She scrambled to her feet and headed for her car

She pulled away, leaving a dust cloud behind her

As she drove away tears marred her face, her makeup running

As she drove away, filled with fear and a deep panic

As she left her vomit spot she remained unaware

She was completely unaware of the fox that sniffed her purged food

It wasn’t a human who screamed, it was a fox

Just remember when you drive at night, in the dark

Animals can sound like humans too

Let me know what you guys think.

Morning Readers

It’s early and I’m awake and after a few household jobs I’m back online.

Here’s a little poem about blood and i hope you like it, it was a quick throw together this morning after I ate home make blueberry muffins.

So here’s the poem for you reading.

Blood

The life force of the human

The human body needs it

We need it to survive

Lose to much and, well, you’re a gonner

Blood

The sight of it chills you to the bone

The smell of it will make you retch

The presence of it isn’t good news

The puddle of it means some ones a gonner

Blood

It made of so many things

It reveals so many things about you

It tells people if you’re been naughty

It tells people you’re unwell

Blood

Never touch it

Never drink it, except if you’re a vampire

Never shed it

Never let it leave your body

Blood

It’s our life, our nectar

It can be donated as we’ll make more

It can be shared, within reason, with others

It is our biggest, best allie and enemy

Blood

Chills you to the bone

Makes you freeze in fear

Gives you life

Gives you health

Hi Readers

Here’s another prose for you to get your teeth into.

Horror is the dark side of humanity

A way of watching things that scare us

Watching horrors in a safe and warm environment.

Tales of ghosts tormenting, haunting, possessing

Words to chill us to the bone

Films that you shouldn’t watch alone

Horror is the serial killer that’s never caught

Or it’s the one that was but ate his victims

A tale of bloody death, distraction and hate

It’s the ghost or demon possessing something innocent

Possessing a doll, child or virtuous woman

Tales of painful deaths that poison life

From the chilling tale of the exorcist

To the mildly humours Scream

People like the different change from a time gone by

Writing horror is a blessing  and it shows

Creating chilling worlds gives me a natural high

Writing dark tales of murder make me smile

Fiction is sometime adapted from reality

Tales from those around others who have lived through it

Survivors of such unseen horrors

Stick around to read more from my writing archive and over active mind. There is so much more to come.

Hi guys,

Its been a busy month, I’ve been working on anthology submissions and promotion for Spilt Blood while working on the sequel, when my body allows it to happen. We’re battling on, I just wish this damn recession would end and things go back to some form of normal.

Writing is a job and a manner of staying sane, I can put it down and pick it up when I have good days and bad days, I just wish the good outnumbered the bad. I am lucky with having supportive friends and family as well as my publisher, she’s super understanding and doesn’t push me too hard.

So much going on including an even coming up soon where I take over a friends facebook fan page, and I really can’t wait.

I need to get as much visibility as possible.

Happy writing guys

Hello Internet

I have been so busy of late, we have organised the study and thrown away so much of our accumulated crap and organise what we were keeping, I’ve also been working on anthology submissions, causing my brain to work over time.

Also I have rekindled my love of writing poetry and it has pulled me into a few different directions and one of my anthology submissions is poetry. I’ll be sending it this next week, keep your fingers crossed.

I’m also doing some stuff of an adult nature for anthologies. The plan is that if I get into a few anthologies that it will increase my visibility with regards to my other books. I’m working on anthology submissions until may then back to Spilt Bloods sequel and a project tentatively titled A Woman Scorned where my best friends daughter modelled for the book cover.

I am also thinking of reviving a few other projests though I don’t want to give myself to much. I love writing and my brain is constantly generating ideas, too many for me to keep up with.

Happy Writing and keep smiling

Simone

Hello Readers

Another post so soon, I know, my early New Years resolution is to keep my multiple blogs up to date, Yes multiple, Here, tumblr and TSU along with my instargram, twitter, facebook and linkedin accounts. I love my job and I am finally getting my head around they whole self promotion aspect of being a writer and sharing my tales with others.

I love the act of writing and find it relaxing. It has been something I’ve been doing since childhood, obviously my writing has evolved through the years. I recently went through some of my old writing stuff and I released how bad some of my early work is. I am finding ways of working around my damn dyslexia and the EDS is being a royal pain in the butt as my wrist, thumb and first finger are slightly out of place which makes typing a little painful but I can write long hand as its my left hand that’s not so well and I write with both but predominantly my write.

I have some things planed or my upcoming book release, some will be after Christmas and I have 11 books to give away during the release as well as a few other upcoming treats that I am currently working on, one of which includes recycling a few old books of mine.
