I know I’ve been quiet but with good reason. I have been hard at work as I have been working on anthology submissions and, as mentioned before, it got excepted and I’ve been working on edits.

I have also been working on Spilt Blood sequel and that is with my publisher at the moment as is my first ever completed novel Twisted Coven and i am waiting to hear back, I just hope she likes them.

While I wait I have been working Hell Hath No Fury, a book where I have used my best friends daughter, who is only a few years younger than me, as the ghost in the book who is rather pissed off and is looking for revenge and I am looking forward to showing my awesome publisher that book.

So yes, I’ve been Busy, i also have my mum over for a week and we have a lot planned, I also have a few things planned this weekend as it’s my birthday so I am doing an event on the 29, I’m also doing a sale on both books for the weekend and a giveaway in the event and one on my page.

Happy Monday

Hello Readers

Well this week has been one of those week. I feel so bad. I have not done a stitch of reading or writing this week. Not in the slightest. I feel so bad. I am at college at the moment and posting while I wait for Judy, the teacher, to have her lunch and the rest of the other students to come in and we can get going. I am hoping that I still improve much like I did last week.

Now I am going to confess to you something that is frighteningly strange to me. I was watching an old episode of America’s next top model, the one where they were taking pictures as thought they had been killed, by each other and it gave me a very odd idea of writing a tale of a group of people who are put to gether in much the same way as America’s next top model/big brother and one by one they get killed off. I think it may have been done before. I know there was something similar in one of the saw films. I guess if I approach it in a different way then that will help and bring a new angle to it. Hum, the brain starts ticking.

I love my new English teacher. She has just said she can’t believe that I am turning 30 this year. Before you ask, the picture on this account is a year old at most. Wedding is coming along, may have a location, with no charge, even better.

I think a lot of you liked my previous post Helpful Hints and I will try my best to do a few more like that. I am also going to ask some writer friends to do a guest post for me. I so hope I can get P I Barrington to. He’s a nice guys and a very talented writer.

Please stay tuned. There is a lot more to come.

I feel so bad that I have been quiet this week. To much to do not enough me time.

Stay Tuned guys.

I know this has been several days in the making and I am so sorry, my crappy illness got in the way of me typing this. I hope you enjoy it.

Please, Feedback is more than welcome.

Haunted House Prose

The house was empty, quiet, creepy, dusty, it made me itch, my nose itch, I desperately wanted to sneeze but it was too soon, I was in hiding, the plan, the plan was to scare Jacob, my life long friend. I knew he was on his way to meet me for our nightly story telling night, telling each other scary stories and attempting to scare each other, we did that all the time. We wanted to see who would scare the easiest, and it wasn’t as easy as you may think.

Jacob was the same age as me. He was your typical hard boy, never one to show is scared, he would always jump and shrug it off that he burped or something. He never admitted that I had ever scared him although I know there was at least three occasions I had nearly made him crap himself.

The plan for the scare was simple, wait for him in the abandoned house on the outskirts of town, where we alway meeting there. I waiting behind the doorway that lead to the basement, waited silently for his footstep on the wooden veranda. I was waiting patiently.

The only thing is, despite my plan I realised he was running late and sat on the top step, looking down at the empty basement, only it wasn’t empty and I became aware of a calm, gentle voice, softly calling my name from the basement and I saw a denim clad leg sticking out at the bottom of the step.

I quietly quickly walked to the bottom only to discover Jacob, unconscious at the basse of the stairs and the voices calling my name continued. I looked at him, I needed to find out what was going, what had happened to jack, it scared me, petrified me.

I looked around the basement and I could hear it the voices coming from the far corner of the room, I couldn’t see what was making the sound. My heart was racing, the voice was so gentle but yet so eerie, I was on my tip toes when I heard a foot step behind me, I turned to see Jacob behind me, blood on his face, eyes closed, he opened them, they looked like cats eyes, mean while the room was filed with voices softly saying my name.

My heard was going ten to the dozen and the floor about us creaked, like some one was up there. I froze, Jacob wasn’t human anymore, I don’t know what he was.

Suddenly, he Laughed at me, breaking the act, breaking the scare. I jumped back, scared out of my skin, my hand went to my heart. I could have slapped him that night. He won that night, it was his best scare by far.

Hope you enjoyed it
